Countdown to Nationals

XP League Macomb & XP League Troy are proud to be hosting our second annual, live, in-person Pal-n-tine's Duo Cup featuring Fortnite on Feb 14, 2024 at our XP League locations in Macomb and West Bloomfield.

The Pal-n-tine's Fortnite Duo Cup will be a Fortnite duos tournament held over 4 hours (later times reserve for west coast players). In addition to prizing for placement in the event, there will be prizes raffled off to qualifying participants.

Grab a friend. Win Prizes! Compete as a Fortnite Duo! The event will start at 7 pm EST and be held for 1 hour and hosted by XP League. Players will be assigned a designated drop time and will play 3 Battle Royale matches.

Duos and solos can register online using the form below. One player must be registered XP League Player.

Each team will receive a designated time slot and receive lobby codes for 3 drops during their allocated time.

Registration will open on 1/17/2024 and close on 2/8/2024.

For Macomb and Troy, each time slot is limited to 8–9 sets of Duos per time slot, due to seating capacity at both venues (16-18 seats).

*The event is free, but there is a nominal facility fee per player to cover venue expenses.

THE FINE DETAILS

Registration. Registration will be open from 1/17/2024. Players and parents can register your Solo or Duo below. It is important that you supply the correct player Epic ID and Discord ID for each player. Locations can register as many teams as they want. Teams must be submitted by 2/8/2024.
XP League Teams. One XP League Player is required per team. The second player on the duo team can be an XP League Player, or a non-XP League Player. All are under that same age restrictions.
Non-XP League Teams. Players not registered with XP League can also participate. Non-XP League participation must be in person. All players must be aged 7-17.
Raffle. To qualify for the Raffle, the XP League Player must meet the qualifying requirements below (see raffle details below).
Drops and Drop Times. On 2/10/2024, XP League will assign drop times for all duo teams submitted and provide assigned team lobby codes to all teams and XP League locations. Drops will be scheduled and will run concurrently. Teams should only take part in their assigned three drops.
Missed Drops. If a team misses a drop, XP League locations should inform XP League HQ in coordination channels. If a team plays beyond their allowed three drops, it may disqualify them from the event.
Scoring. The two best scores of the three drops for the duo will be used as their final score.
Time Slots. Time slots will be assigned for the tournament periods between 6-10 pm EST on Feb 10th.
Epic Servers. All drops will be on NA-Central servers.
Lobby Codes. Codes will be distributed within the XP League Pal-N-Tines Discord server (see below to join Discord server).
Starting. It is required that duos show up on-time for the scheduled drop times. Keep in mind that rounds do not always run at exact times. XP League will not start a round early, but cannot guarantee an on-time start for any subsequent designated drop time.
Rules. The XP League General Rules and Fortnite Winter Season Rules regarding good conduct and fair play are in effect for this event.

PRIZES & AWARDS

First Place. The highest scoring Duo will win a pair of HyperX Alloy Origins Keyboards (one per
player).
Second Place. Win a pair of HyperX Pulsefire Core Mice (one per player).
Third Place. Win a pair of HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset (one per player).
All Players. Receive an XP League Official Digital Certificate of Completion.

BRING A PAL RAFFLE

XP League Players Only

Current XP League Players who partner with a non-XP League player under 18 (XP League age range 8–17) will be eligible to participate in a $50 Vbucks raffle.
The three (3) raffle drawings will be held during XP League's regular scheduled Fortnite streams on 2/17/2024.
There will be a total of three (3) $50 Vbucks gift cards raffled to three (3) XP League players.
Winning raffles will also be notified via email/discord, and coordinated with the winning XP League location.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE RAFFLE: You must be a registered XP League Player who brought a non-XP League player under the age of 18 (XP League age range).
