Countdown to Nationals

New Fortnite DUOS Game Title

XP League Macomb and XPL Troy will be offering two Fortnite options this coming 2023 Fall Season.

Fortnite is a popular online multiplayer video game developed by Epic Games. It offers several game modes, including Duos and Trios, which are team-based modes where players cooperate to achieve victory. Here's a description of each:

Fortnite Duos

In the Duos game mode, players form teams of two. You can either invite a friend to be your partner or be matched with a random player as your teammate. The primary objective remains the same as in other Fortnite modes: to be the last team or player standing. Duos emphasizes teamwork, communication, and coordination between you and your partner.

Fortnite Trios

Trios game mode is similar to Duos, but instead of teams of two, players form teams of three. Just like in Duos, the ultimate goal is to outlast all the other teams and emerge as the victors. Trios mode encourages even more complex strategies and cooperation, as you now have an additional teammate to work with.

Summary

Both Duos and Trios modes offer players a chance to engage in intense battles, showcase their teamwork and strategy, and enjoy the thrill of victory. Communication, resource sharing, and strategic decision-making are key components of success in these team-based modes, and they remain popular choices among Fortnite players. Keep in mind that game mechanics, strategies, and features can evolve over time due to updates and changes from the game's developers.

XP League Fortnite Membership Options

XP League is treating Fortnite DUOS just like any other game title. Therefore, players have the option to play Apex Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Fortnite Trios, Minecraft, Fortnite Dues, or Fortnite Trios. So players have the following options:

Fortnite TRIOS or DUOS Only

Players can choose to play either DUOS or TRIOS. This would be registering for a single game title. This would be a BASIC Membership and costs $129 / month.

Adding DUOS as an Additional Game Title

Any XP League players wanting to add Fortnite DUOS (including Fortnite TRIOS players) to their membership would register under a BASIC Membership ($129 / month) and add the GAME PLUS Membership ($65 / month).

With either option, we will be able to assist you getting registered. Click below to get started.

Fortnite Schedules

Schedules Overview

Depending on the demand for Fortnite DUOS, both the Macomb and Troy locations will be scheduling Fortnite DUOS practices and games on Mondays by default. Depending on the players' and coach availability, this can change, and each DUO team's schedule may vary.

Home Office will be hosting two drops times for Fortnite DUOS on Mondays, 7-8 pm, and 8-9 pm. Only one drop time can be selected. This cannot change.

Since teams are only made up of two players, each team can coordinate which time is best for practice with their coach. The majority of our options are listed below.
