UPDATE 12/7/2023: The COPE x XPL Pro-AM has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 1 pm! One month from today!!!! We look forward to seeing you all there ready to rumble!!!

UPDATE 12/3/2023: Due to the Big Bang Event that happened on Dec 2, the demand for Fortnite has gone through the roof, and created queue time of over 30 minutes. Due to the wait times, the Pro-Am event was cancelled and rescheduled. According to the information provided by Epic Games, the queue time for The Big Bang event superseded all expectations and extended through the whole weekend. The waiting queue error was initially caused by the high volume of players that have queued up to witness the Eminem concert first-hand. Everyone from first-timers to seasoned players are eager to watch history being written. Sadly, this has led to players being booted from the match or being forced to restart the queuing time all over again. But not to worry, as Epic Games has taken measures to ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy The Big Bang.

UPDATE 11/28/2023: Registration is closed. I have been informed that a few spots are still open (DM if you still want in). We have 7 players. Players will either be playing at Evolution Esports Arena or remote. No players will be in person at the XP League Macomb facility. OVERVIEW

XP League Macomb & XP League Troy are proud to be hosting the live, COPE x XP League Pro-Am featuring FORTNITE on January 7, 2024, at XP League Macomb, and XP League Troy.

The COPE x XP League Pro-Am is designed to raise money for the COPE Community Fund, which is used towards scholarships, grants, and programs for under-served youth. COPE is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Pro-Am will pit 30 trios against one another in a Fortnite Battle Royale tournament.

Each team will consist of one (1) pro or content creator along with two (2) kids enrolled in XP League’s current season, all competing for a $3,000 prize pool while bringing awareness to COPE’s mission.

There will be a $50 donation to COPE at the time of sign-up for the Pro-Am.

Grab a few XP League teammates! Win Prizes! Play with a Pro! Compete as a FORTNITE team! All XPL Macomb and Troy players from all game titles can participate.

While this event can be played remote, XP League Troy will be hosting players at Evolution Esports Arena. This allows us to provide coaches to give tips, supply food and snacks, and ensure players are interacting appropriately, and provide support if needed.

THE FINE DETAILS

Purpose. This is a charity event to raise money for COPE, players will be required to make a minimum donation of $50 to COPE. A greater donation is also greatly appreciated.
Registration. Signups will open on November 10th, and will close on November 27th at 11:59pm EST. You must register using the form below or contact your XP League location League Commissioner to register.
Limited Capacity. There will be a 60-player signup limit that is first come, first served. Make sure to sign up early!
Team Names. XP League will assign players to teams, which will be named based on the pro player who
captains the team. Players will be assigned to their teams by 12/1/2023
Teammates. Players can request their XPL teammates when they sign up for the event.
Rules. Rules will be posted in the Discord server.
Discord Server. HXP League will create a Discord server for teams/players to communicate with each other. Click here to join. HQ will monitor and moderate this server throughout the event. The server will then be closed on December 8th.
Streaming and Casting. XP League will provide professional casters on the XP League HQ official Twitch channel throughout the tournament, which can be found here.
War Legends. All players will be required to sign up with War Legends as soon as possible to ensure they are able to play. During the tournament, the War Legends Leaderboard can be found here. The WL app is not required to be installed.
Play Time. There will be a total of six (6) rounds of play.
Prizing. Pros will all be competing for a $3,000 prize pool and receive the cash prizes. All XP League players will receive an MSI swag bag and the prizes described below.
Approximate Time. It is estimated to take approximately 4 hours (6 rounds) to complete the tournament.
